The Coast Guard Regional Exam Center in Long Beach is looking for members to augment at the Exam Center to assist in the processing of Merchant Seaman Credentials. Tasks will include such things as data entry, fingerprinting and customer service. The requirements are as follows: Operational Support Clearance (may require additional screening) Willing to serve consistently one day per week (more days would be helpful) An interest in learning and employing new skills An interest in doing important work Interested members will need to complete the Request to Augment CG Unit form on the District website and submit it to Richard Kolligian, ASC LA/LB via their FC.
